I sing of America’s fallen
Who have given themselves
To supporting the righteous cause of American Empire
From supporting America’s quest in Viet Nam
For tin, rubber and oil
Spreading liberal amounts of Agent Orange and viscous napalm
Where undisclosed Mi Lais occurred daily
To the jungles of Latin America
Where we supplied world class training
In the arts of counterinsurgency, torture and massacre
Of vicious troops supporting autocracies
American soldiers flew those missions
Over Iraq where even before shock and awe Clintons
Embargo killed 650,000 of Madeleine Albright’s righteously dead children.
(But although hard, she opined it was worth it)
