Newt Gingrich: Serial Adulterer at the S. Carolina Debate
Back when Monica was Bill fellating
Newt was there pontificating
About the evils of the president
In a righteous voice most strident
But Newt’s personal History is less than sterling
And around him controversy is currently swirling
He ditched number one as she lay in a hospital bed
Facing the reality of breast cancer with understandable dread
This the result of adultery with subsequent wife number two
Who herself was later with MS jettisoned because she refused to do
An open marriage with Callista –who really never cared
If Newt his corpulent body shared.
When asked by the moderator of the S. Caroline debate
Whether he would like to discuss his ex-wife’s accusations
He said no- and launched on a self-righteous diatribe of hate
Aimed at the destructive, vicious, and negative elite 4th estate
Who would dare to even consider raising his personal past–
He blamed the press in a scathing blast
And never did respond with a forthright answer
About his personal moral cancer
And perhaps Newt is right—
One’s personal life-
Like religion- should be
Sacrosanct you see
But what makes this controversy
So appalling is New’t blatant hypocrisy
And what made the exchange so bizarre and surreal
Was that those who profess to uphold and to feel
That man-woman marriage and family values are holy
Were applauding this sanctimonious man roly-poly
For viciously attacking the Republican-bashing media hacks
That according to Newt protects Obama’s back
For Newt is forgiven because the main thrust
Of his personal and shared quest most just
Is to become the white house’s next resident
And annihilate Obama—the food stamp president.
The S. Carolina debate exposed the blatant racism
That is a black mark on the American soul
That in the South the Civil War still rages
And that the country is not whole.
