Baby Ransom at the Border
Just when you think Trump has reached a new low
He does something outrageous showing that’s not so
Turning legal asylum seekers into criminals is bad enough
But stealing their children is truly tough
Jeff Sessions citing Roman’s 13 says laws
are made by god ad must be obeyed
but I would say vicious men write these laws
and we easily see Sessions’ logical flaw
tell me the laws are not venal
in this system quite penal
lock them up to you I do say
and private contractors skim off $130 per day
trauma to babies and parents are extreme
as they are fed into this cruel machine
until the judge says they should be expeditiously united
but doubtful whether all can be recovered
